This 36' S2 11.0 Aft Cockpit is located in Milwaukee, WI She is a nimble upwind performer, and very spirited off the wind, she is a sure footed rugged vessel in heavy conditions. Her interior offers solid teak trim and bulkheads, teak & holly sole, and seven under-berth storage lockers. The large forward stateroom has a double v-berth and teak hanging locker and is enclosed for privacy. The head forward has a vanity and a shower with curtain enclosure. The vessel uses fabric as a hull liner, and it almost became a trademark of S2 interiors. The fabric is a neutral-colored polypropylene, treated to be mildew resistant. It is contact-cemented to the hull, and holds up amazingly well, absorbing virtually no water. Up to 7 persons can sleep comfortably below.
Galley The U shaped galley is on the port side aft. There is generous storage in drawers and lockers and a louvered locker above the sinks for additional storage.
Electrical and Plumbing holds 87 gallons of water in 2 tanks-1 under the dinette and 1 under the settee. The holding tank is under the V-berth.

Factory Note: The S2 was built to the high end of the production market, with more emphasis on structural quality than the average production boat receives. The deck is attached to the hull with a flexible adhesive and is through bolted every 6 inches. The bulkheads and the wood furniture are glassed to the hull, which is the superior method of construction. In addition to her sturdy build, the S2 is well laid out with a roomy interior for comfortable living.
