Another price reduction! The owner wants this boat sold!
A very clean and special Hatteras 42 convertible. In 2000 the owner spent an amazing amount for a full renovation. New generator, new paint job, new diesel heat, and much more.
In a very desirable slip in Clipper Yacht Harbor, Sausalito! (Slip can probably transfer at the discretion of the Harbor Master)
The Mickey Finn is a 1971 42' Hatteras Convertible Sport Fisher that received a $250,000 renovation in 2000, which included replacing all the thru-hulls, replacing and resealing windows, redoing the kitchen and head (bathroom) with Corian counter tops and Grohe fixtures, redoing the electrical from bow to stern, and installing a brand new Northern Lights 10 KW generator that has 18 hours on it. The engines are rock solid Detroit Diesels and the flybridge was equipped with a $10,000 custom fabricated fiberglass roof. The batteries were also recently replaced with dry cell batteries, and a kerosene Espar heating system was installed.
The Hatteras 42 Convertible represented a big step forward in convertible design in 1971 with her full-width flybridge (the first in any Hatteras model) and her bold, more aggressive exterior profile. Construction was on the heavy side, and considerable flare was added at the bow. Her large 110-square-foot cockpit easily accommodates a mounted chair and complete tackle center. The Hatteras 42 was offered with only one floor plan, a two-stateroom arrangement with the galley down and a wide-open salon. A stall shower is fitted in the double-entry head, and teak paneling and cabinets are applied throughout. It is a heavily built boat with a comfortable ride, that will cruise around 18-19 knots with either GM 6-71TIs diesels. Top speed is around 21-22 knots.
