She has 4 berths including a double "V" berth in the forward cabin and 2 single settee berths in the saloon.
Marnier II has undergone a complete refit over the past 3 year. Starting in Spring 2015 she was peeled below the waterline, dried, re-laminated and epoxy treated, the deck to coachroof joint was epoxied and screwed, the backs of the cockpit seats were replaced in 2016, a new foredeck beam was installed in 2017 to strengthen the deck and a large mahogany quarter round was fitted externally around the coachroof and cockpit to add strength also in 2017.
All interior and exterior wood has been stripped and re-varnished 2016/7, her forepeak has been insulated and battened, it has a custom double with fitted mattress, all interior woodwork has been repainted, galley and chart table re-laminated, a new brass galley tap fitted and a new cockpit floor fitted in 2017. Her engine has been regularly serviced and a new exhaust elbow fitted 2017.
She has been re-wired in 2017, all lights have been replaced with LED's except the stern light.
Her owners invested in a new set of sails from Crusader in 2017 and upgraded to a stack-pack and lazyjacks, at the same time replacing the running rigging. New upholstery was fitted in 2017 and new heads in 2016.
She is a well loved boat, beautiful to look at and to sail. All the work has been undertaken with plans to sail far, but plans have changed and a bigger boat is on the horizon. She is currently here at Tollesbury Marina and is ready to go!
