Although the origins of this boat are not clear, as Huston & Hornby, her claimed builder, was more an engines and heavy machines builder and we are not certain that they owned also a Yard, we are quite sure about her originality as her history since the last Fifties is well known to us. She arrived from the North Seas as mother ship for a group of Italian divers soon to become famous as the founders af the Italy's most ancient and recognised diving magazine “Mondo Sommerso”. Goffredo Lombardo and Carla Bonomi, owners of the boat and of the film producer company Titanus, edited the magazine and popularised the diving sport in Italy. Angélique sailed all the Mediterranean and many known diving fishermen and scientist crewed on her as Alessandro Olschki, Maurizio Sarra, Folco Quilici and Franco Capodarte. There are many pictures of the Angélique in the “Mondo Sommerso” issues and she was the mother ship from where Goffredo and Carla dived to the bottom to get married on a subacuatic ceremony! Angélique present owners have restored her with care, giving her back her topsides coloursof those days. Thanks to her comfortable cabins and convivial spaces she is still a good charter boat, for a maximun of 14 people, with a tasty classic touch and interesting history.
